About Me

Hi! I’m Meghan.

I’ve done everything from fast-food to filing papers to teaching college, researching AI, and writing software (yes, all at the same time). Now I write science fiction and fantasy. What can I say? It entertains my cats.

My latest story is “The Battle of Wanakena,” about a conflict in post-apocalyptic upstate New York between the world’s most liberal transhuman woman and a weird robot guy. And also a lesbian farm commune and a pony named Rocks and a bunch of potatoes. It appears in the January/February 2023 issue of Analog. For other stories, check my publications page.

I keep an erratically-maintained list of the things I’ve read, and an even more erratic blog. Why not roll the dice and go see if I’ve updated them recently?
